Revelation 2:1-5, “To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: 2 “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; 3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. 4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.”
“Repent”: in Greek, it’s “metanoeo”, means to change one’s mind, to think differently, to reconsider.
Five of the seven churches in Revelation were told to repent. Repent is a fundamental thing to do. When you repent, you want to change the way you formulate your ideas. Continue Reading

I received a really good question about Mark 3:11-12 and thought I should share this.
“ I don’t understand it and maybe you can help. Why would He (Jesus) not want everyone to know He is the Son of God in Mark 3:11-12?”
“11.Whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, they would fall down before Him and shout, “You are the Son of God !”
12. And He earnestly warned them not to tell who He was.” Continue Reading
The New You
Has something started to stir in your heart? Do you have a longing to know the true meaning of life?
Jesus wants to take you out of the darkness in which you have been walking and bring you into the light of His goodness and kindness. He will gather up all the broken pieces of your life and replace it with His life, an abundant life.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that god hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
- Admit you are a sinner. See Romans 3:10
- Be willing to turn from sin (repent). See Acts 17:30
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the dead. See Romans 10:9-10
- Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior. See Romans 10:13
What to pray:
“Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.”
If you trusted Jesus as your Savior, you have just begun a wonderful new life in Him. Now:
- Read your Bible (KJV, NKJV or NASB) every day to get to know Jesus Christ better. (If you do not have a Bible, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and address and I will send you one for free with no obligations and your information will be deleted immediately afterwards to secure privacy.)
- Talk to God in prayer every day.
- Be baptized, worship, fellowship and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is the final authority.
- Tell others about Jesus Christ.
Welcome to the Family!
- Be a Proverbs 31 Woman
Matthew 15:21-28 “Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.” But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.”
